I just held phone calls with various leaders of the Dutch Jewish community following the horrific antisemitic attacks on a synagogue in Rotterdam and a Jewish school in Amsterdam over the weekend.

It is totally unacceptable that the historic Jewish community of the Netherlands, devastated during the Holocaust and today a thriving center of Jewish life, continues to face violent antisemitism. I call on the Dutch authorities to intensify efforts to combat antisemitism, incitement, and terror against the Jewish community.

From Jerusalem, I send a message of solidarity and strength to our sisters and brothers in the Netherlands. We stand together with you in the face of this despicable Jew-hatred.
