Imagine watching an entire season thinking you understand what the mystery is, only for the finale to reveal that you were looking at the wrong problem the entire time. That’s the kind of twist Lanterns seems to be setting up. The Green Lantern mythology gives this show so many possibilities that the finale could completely change the context of everything we’ve seen.
