On 16.05.2026, fish seedlings were released at Toubhanga Village, Sonitpur, under the Black Diamond Integrated Makhana–Fish Farming Model Project of the Makhana Development Scheme, supported by the Directorate of Horticulture & Food Processing, Assam.
The programme was graced by Mr. Ajyodhya Jyoti Das (AI), Mr. Pankaj Phukan (AEA), and progressive farmer Mr. Dilip Bez. Jeevika Sakhis, Krishi Sakhis, and aspiring farmers actively participated, making the event a meaningful step.
On 20th May 2026, Sushila Foundation For Agricultural and Rural Development successfully conducted an Agroforestry Promotion Programme at Bongaon GP & Bongaon VO Office, Majuli, in collaboration with the District Agriculture Department, Majuli.
Our dedicated FPO members procured fresh raw ginger directly and carried out the complete processing at the FPO facility to produce high-quality dried ginger.
