KYRA’S LAW IS HERE! After years of advocacy, today is the day we finally celebrate the passage of Kyra’s Law — a critical step toward making New York’s Family Courts safer for children and survivors of domestic violence.
We are deeply grateful to the New York State Legislature, bill sponsors Assemblymember @AM_AndrewHevesi and Senator @JamesSkoufis, and the many advocates, survivors, and child safety experts whose tireless efforts helped make #KyrasLaw a reality.

Say it with us: BELIEVE SURVIVORS!
#DenimDay is a global march sparked by a 1992 court ruling that blamed an 18yo survivor of assault because of the jeans she was wearing.
Thank you to our Sanctuary community for showing up for survivors ✨
#InjusticeToOneIsInjusticeToAll
This isn’t inevitable — it’s preventable.
Prevention means challenging the normalization of violence against women, confronting misogyny, teaching consent early and often, and holding people and institutions accountable for harm.
#SexualAssaultAwarenessMonth#WeAreSanctuary
Clothing is never consent.
Join us this #DenimDayNYC as we wear our jeans in solidarity, amplify survivors' voices, and demand accountability. 💙
