Day 10 of developing HECCHIARA☆KOROKORO
I spent way too long getting the domino timing just right.
And then the last car went flying. 💥
Totally worth it.

Day 9 of developing HECCHIARA☆KOROKORO
I lined up the cars.
Then I made them explode one by one.
I don't know why I thought this was a good idea.

Day 7 of developing HECCHIARA☆KOROKORO
First time showing this: bombs. Four of them line up against four parked cars.
No VFX or sound yet, but the physics sends them sliding sideways in one clean row.
This is the start of the chaos I have always wanted to make.

Day 6 of developing HECCHIARA☆KOROKORO
Built a small self-contained gimmick today: a spring launches the ball
it tips a short row of dominoes, and the last one flips upright as the goal marker
Small, but it's the first time a chain completes clean, start to finish

Day 5 of developing HECCHIARA☆KOROKORO
A pretty boring-looking day.
Added:
• Visible hitboxes
• Numerical monitoring & logging
• Camera tweaks
I'm also thinking about a Story Mode
The blue boxes are hitboxes
Boring to look at
Very exciting when things break. 😂

Day 4 of developing HECCHIARA☆KOROKORO
Added lots of new gimmicks, terrain, destruction physics, and a dynamic goal camera.
At this rate, I won't finish in a month. 😅
Also, the second ball is broken.
It starts rolling BEFORE it's supposed to move.
Why?! 😂

Dev Day 3
Added ball type, improved domino appearance, and made the movement more natural.
Also implemented reproducible "failures".
Feels closer to an actual game now.

Dev Day 2
Finished basic design.
Changed blocks to domino-style, added physics, and implemented camera controls (zoom, follow, etc.).
Starting to look like something.

Dev Day 1
Started building after a visit from my niece and nephew.
Aiming for a playable version in about a month.
First prototype... looks a bit like slime blocks.
#indiedev#gamedev#physics
Making a physics building game with Poly Bridge-like construction, Katamari-ish whimsical vibes, and Rube Goldberg-style chain reaction machines.
2D physics, pseudo-3D looks.
Just getting started.
