I am pro 2A but I see culture has changed we need a better system and I want to see if someone can come up with a real solution

I am bipolar, when my ex tried to take the kids she did all sorts of nasty stuff including triggering me and calling police. I am not violent, allowed myself to be committed to prove I was healthy, but that would red flag me? Should I be denied my 2A

Take the Uvalde shooter here in Texas, he had plenty of interactions with police prior, but never arrested and charged. Those interactions with police should at least flag someone for thorough process.
