Today was the last day of states! The boys 400 free relay of Baganski, McKenna, Cory Laing and Andrew Cubbler placed 26th, Baganski swam the 100 free in 47.90 to place 23rd, and Luke McKenna placed 31 in the 500 with a 4:47.78. Congrats to everyone on a great high school season!

The boys 200 free relay of Brendan Baganski, Sean Laing, Sam Ricci and Cory Laing placed 28th. Ashley Gutshall also raced the 50 freestyle and placed 23rd with a 24.57! Today we have Baganski competing in the 100 free, Luke McKenna in the 500 free, and the boys 400 free relay!

Update from states! Brendan Baganski placed 13th in prelims of the 50 free, which got him a spot in the finals! At finals, he placed 14th and with a 21.47. Way to go Brendan!

After the consolation rounds Joey Milano will wrestle for 3rd. Louie and Jack for 7th. First time in school history to have three medalists! Let's go!!

HUGE congratulations to the swimmers who will be competing at PIAA state championships! We have Brendan Baganski in the 50 and the 100 freestyle, Luke Mckenna in the 500, and the boys 200 and 400 free relays! Ashley Gutshall will be swimming the 50 freestyle!

Congratulations to the relay of Ashley Gutshall, Maris Sadowski, Emma Thomas and Anna Curran for breaking their own school records in both the 200 and 400 free relays. Brendan Baganski broke his own records in the 50 and 100 free, and Luke Mckenna broke his own 500 free record!!

To conclude the meet, on the second day Ashley Gutshall swam to a 33rd place finish in the 100 free with a 54.66. Emma Thomas placed 16th in the 500 with a 5:18.76! The girls 400 freestyle relay of Gutshall, Sadowski, Thomas and Curran placed 18th with a 3:38.00!

The girls 200 free relay of Ashley Gutshall, Maris Sadowski, Emma Thomas and Anna Curran placed 19th with a 1:39.50!

On Thursday, the 200 medley relay of Maris Sadowski, Anna Curran, Meredith Ruckelshaus, and Alyssa DeFlavia placed 21st with a time of 1:52.40. Emma Thomas placed 24th in 200 free with a 1:58.72 and Ashley Gutshall swam the 50 free in 24.29 to get 8th!

Day 2 we had Baganski place 8th in 100 free in 47.25 and Mckenna placed 4th in the 500 in 4:40.90. Sean Laing and Andrew Cubbler swam 100 back to place 27th and 19th, with a 55.38 and a 55.19. The 400 free relay of Baganski, Cubbler, Cory Laing, and Mckenna placed 10th in 3:15.37

Also on Thursday, Luke Mckenna placed 18th in 200 IM in 1:59.20 and Cory Laing placed 28th in 200 free with a 1:48.61! Sean Laing placed 20th in 100 fly in 53.98 and to end the session the 200 free relay of Baganski, Sean Laing, Ricci, and Cory Laing places 8th with a 1:28.53!

Thursday was the first day of districts competition! The day started with a 17th place finish in the medley relay of Andrew Cubbler, Nick Tufillaro, Sean Laing and Sam Ricci with a 1:39.91. Brendan Baganski placed 4th with a 21.39! Sam Ricci placed 39th in the 50 with a 23.09.
