Students coming up and sharing their problem solving strategies with their classmates. They do all the work for me! They can learn so much from one another!
We made a stinky beautiful mess this week designing, creating, and filling a mini compost bin! I loved listening to their reflections. So much learning took place. The kids were excited to get their hands dirty with this design project! And look at those smiles!
This turned out to be a lesson in Science and perseverance. Students learned how to make a nail into a temporary magnet but it wasn’t working at first for most pairs of students. We didn’t give up and almost everyone was eventually successful. That takes perseverance! 👍🏼
