It was fabulous to see the technology students taking ownership of the class demonstration this morning. Students decided on the equipment they would need & Kayan modelled the best method of approach to the task they had been set. Another amazing example of student leadership!

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Planning has begun for our 'King Charles III' Memorial Garden. Using a stretch of lawn alongside our courts, we hope to create a peaceful place for our school community…

We will be planting a tree to commemorate the King's coronation, but also one for Chris Collier, our site manager who sadly passed away earlier this year. Students will be given the opportunity to plant trees/flowers for their own lost loved ones as well.

A huge well done to students Katie and Arabella for their commitment to the SFX Challenge. Katie was awarded her bronze (15 challenges) & silver award (20 challenges), & Arabella received the gold award (30 challenges). What an incredible achievement!

Mrs Hawkins led the whole school assembly on Tuesday morning on our theme of the week Fellowship. It was wonderful to hear from students about the impact that their enrichment club has on them. There are so many enrichment clubs on offer to students in school.

There was lots of fun to be had at lunch time as students enjoyed pea-themed games in support of Christian Aid's 'Big Pea Challenge!' A highlight was definitely seeing who could hold the word "pea" the longest - there was some strong competition...video to follow!

Arthur & Karla singing a duet &, last but not least, a group of Y8s (with no prior warning!) getting up on the stage & leading the rest of the year in the actions to 'Our God is a Great Big God.' Thank you to everyone it was a brilliant celebration! Well done Year 8!

Yr 8 celebrated their Eucharist with Rev. Paul yesterday on ‘fellowship.' We witnessed some astounding acts of fellowship & courage during the service, with Hazel, Heather & Rachael delivering thought-provoking reflections about living in fellowship with one another,
