গত ৬/৮/২০২৫ তারিখে কোচবিহার জেলার দিনহাটা বিধানসভার সাহেবগঞ্জ থানার অন্তর্গত শালমারা গ্রামে শুধুমাত্র বিজেপি সমর্থক হওয়ার অপরাধে শ্রী জিতেন্দ্র নাথ বর্মণের বাড়িতে চড়াও হয়��� তৃণমূলের হার্মাদ বাহিনী ওনার ৮ মাসের অন্তঃসত্ত্বা মেয়ে; পূরবী বর্মণ কে পেটে লাথি মারে। লাথির আঘাতে ওই অন্তঃসত্তা মহিলার রক্তক্ষরণ শুরু হয় ও ব্যথায় কাতরাতে থাকেন।

আমি ঘটনার সম্বন্ধে অবগত হওয়ার পর, বেহাল সরকারি স্বাস্থ্য ব্যবস্থার ওপর ভরসা না রেখে প্রথমেই ওনার সু-চিকিৎসার জন্যে শিলিগুড়ির এক বেসরকারি হাসপাতালে ওনাকে স্থানান্তর করার ব্যবস্থা করাই।

এর পর দোষীদের এই জঘন্য অপরাধের জন্য প্রাপ্য শাস্তি নিশ্চিত করতে পরিবার কে থানায় FIR দায়ের করার ব্যাপারে আইনি সহায়তা প্রদান করা হয়, একইসাথে জাতীয় মহিলা কমিশন ও জাতীয় তফসিলি জাতি কমিশনে অভিযোগ দায়ের করা হয়েছে।
বর্তমানে জলপাইগুড়িতে হাইকোর্টের সার্কিট বেঞ্চে এই বিষয়ে তথ্য সমগ্র সহ মামলা দায়ের করার প্রস্তুতি চলছে।

ভালো খবর হলো পূরবী বর্মণ, যাঁর সন্তান প্রসবের তারিখ ছিল ২০/৮/২০২৫, ওনার আজ এক কন্যা সন্তান জন্ম হয়েছে। এই মুহূর্তে ওরা স্থিতিশীল।

আমি এই পুরো ঘটনার নিন্দা জানানোর ভ��ষা খুঁজে পাচ্ছি না, তবে কথা দিচ্ছি যতক্ষণ না পর্যন্ত অপরাধীরা শাস্তি পাচ্ছে, ততক্ষণ আইন সম্মত উপায়ে যা যা করণীয় তার ব্যবস্থা করবো।

I am seeing a lot of “secular” posts by leftists and Islamists about how language and culture across WB and Bangladesh are the same, and how Hindus and Muslims in Bengal (WB +BD) are all the same.

These posts in the name of ‘Bengali identity’, in reality is trying to distort Bengal history. Hindus and Muslims have always been different in Bengal. The Bengal partitions in 1905 and 1947 were primarily based on religious divisiveness.

📍If we look back at Bengal freedom movement history, we find organisations like Anushilan, Jugantar, Bengal Volunteers, etc., fighting for our independence from the British.
𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

At the very same time, the Muslim League was formed in Dhaka. Did a single Muslim League leader fight against the British flag ? Did Any Communist leader fight against the British ?
Answer is 𝗡𝗢. Their only goal was to seize power in Bengal, by allying with the British.

📍 At the convocation ceremony of the University of Calcutta, when Bina Das (Bengali Hindu) attempted to assassinate the tyrannical Governor Stanley by firing at him, Husey Suhrawardy (Bengali Muslim), grabbed Bina Das and handed her over to the British police. Bina Das was the daughter of Benimadhab Das, the ideological teacher of Subhas Chandra Bose.

📍In 1937 the Bengali Muslims chose Fazlul Haque over Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to be the first Prime Minister of undivided Bengal. Any guesses why?!

📍In 1942 the Bengali Muslims handed over the premiership to British loyalist Khwaja Nazimuddin, who was responsible for the famine that killed 3 million people, instead of choosing a Hindu freedom fighter. Why?

📍In 1946 the Bengali Muslims handed power to Suhrawardy, who became the butcher of Bengali Hindus.

📍 Muslims have been constantly driving out Hindu Bengalis from their country (🇧🇩), for the last 78 years since Partition. The language isn’t the same then?

📌Jihadis have now hired few failed and incompetent journalists, professors, and political leaders with Hindu names, and paid them to again mislead the Hindu Bengalis.
Just like Sarat Bose and others had misled Bengalis with lies back in the day.

Now, as the descendants of Fazlul Haque, Khwaja Nazimuddin, or Suhrawardy are being pushed back to their original homeland (🇧🇩), the Jihadis are using these jobless people to distort facts and blur the lines between them and us.

Being Bengali is a national identity. One cannot claim to be Bengali, by allying with the British instead of participating in the freedom struggle, or by destroying Hindu Bengalis over 78 years. One cannot become a Bengali even by bribing corrupt officials and getting a fake certificate.

In the Election Petition filed by Shri Abhijit (Bobby) Das against the alleged winning candidate from Diamond Harbour Lok Sabha Constituency, today, i.e. on 8th April, 2025, the Hon'ble Justice Sugato Majumdar has directed the ECI and the District Magistrate/District Election Officer to preserve all documents pertaining to the Election under challenge, especially the CCTV video footages and DVR records. It takes time to unravel the truth but ultimately it prevails. The CCTV footages and DVR records will depict clearly as to how the "Nishabdey Biplob" of Bhaipoism might have prejudiced the Elections in that Constituency.
