Earlier today, I delivered the welcome address at the Democracy Day Public Lecture in Abuja. As we reflect on 27 years of democratic governance, we also salute our Armed Forces whose courage and sacrifice continue to defend our democracy against terrorism and non state actors.
Nigeria's democratic journey has delivered expanded freedoms, stronger institutions, major infrastructure, improved financial inclusion, and broader access to education and healthcare. While challenges remain, our progress is undeniable. As we celebrate #DemocracyDay2026...
