Moral of the story kids, if someone offers you "work" or a spot in an agency with benefits that seem to good to be true, then it probably is. Always ask what the buisnes plan is and how they plan on making money to pay for the services they are offering you

Looks like the agency that I was an "editor" for finally collapsed. I mainly left due to personal reasons making it difficult to work as an editor, but man did I see some red flags during that small window I was a part of N1 and Luminary

I am so fucking heartbroken.
I feel partially responsible for so many people getting hurt by these events.
We had just started a partnership and he was doing a fairly decent job at the time. No issues with anyone.
Jump forward maybe a few months later, I learned through many good friends that my name was being used in a way to lure people in under a guise of false pretenses and they all had backed off, which I apologized to them for his actions. I immediately confronted him and terminated. I had no idea people still joined even after I had already parted ways with Camana. To hear that people still were thrown in using my name and how he "built me up". Yes, this statement was used, my manager had spoken to him and heard from others that Camana would say he "built my channel", and how he used my name consistently in all the conversations, even going as far as to approach them in-person with promises and unprofessional verbiage. Hearing that so many people have been effected by this is very... I didn't know he would then go on to fucking destroy an entire agency he built. He even wanted me to join knowing I was furious with him. I even stated to him personally to keep my name out of anymore future conversations. How do you go about using my name to destroy others futures man. I remember I was so fucking mad. And at that point I really didn't know what to believe in anything he said anymore. He lied to me, to my manager, to many others. I was used, and my name effected many others, and if I had known it had gotten this bad behind the scenes, to the point where he still kept using my name, I would have said something. I'm sorry and my heart goes out to those effected by this situation. And seeing everything else coming out makes my heart sink so much.

I also did not realize until recently that they where giving talent a bunch of services for free! No commission fees or revenue split, which made me feel like Markiplier trying to figure out how Honey made money all those years ago lol

@banshee_xeno Don't kill the vibes, things will go wrong with tech and you will sometimes struggle with games which is fine, but if your stream just becomes you nonstop complaining about those issues then you become as entertaining as listening to your parents argue in the next room

So here I am with this rusted pile of junk, waiting for the scrap yard to take it away, feeling absolutely defeated and hopeless, with barely anything left in my bank account because of how much I put into this thing.

2 years ago I bought an old Ford Ranger with the hopes of fixing it up, I even started a youtube channel to document my progress with the truck and other DIY projects. I was so excited to have my own vehicle for once....... today it's getting towed to the scrap yard.

I was under the illusion that I could be like one of those youtubers who buys an old car, boat, or camper for cheap and with some hard work bring it back to life again with little funds and experience. Either I'm just not that lucky or there's more to it than what they show.

@banshee_xeno The unfortunate thing about games like Phasmo is that the game is better when you know nothing about it. Once you start to understand how the ghosts and systems work the game just becomes.... routine.

Most friends I meet online even if we do know each other's real names we still use our online names, even if we meet up IRL. Whenever I'm in a call online and someone uses my real name it always feels so wrong.

How common or uncommon is it for vtubers who are close to eachother to actually use their real names?

Anyone doing that or we all only sticking to usernames? 🤔
