Sudan has been ravaged by more than three years of a brutal civil war, where the UAE's role in supporting the RSF has been widely documented.

NEW: Colombian private military contractors, apparently hired by a United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based company, transited through UAE military bases before being deployed to Sudan to support the abusive Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
This is further evidence indicating that the UAE is assisting or otherwise substantially contributing to the Rapid Support Forces’ capacity to commit war crimes.

This country has arrived at an appalling place.
The UAE, through it's arming of Sudan's RSF, is probably the most consequential foreign actor in a devastating war.
Now activists are focusing on the UAE's sports sponsorship, calling on @NBA to suspend its brand deal with the country.
