Ecclesiastes reminds us that life is not just about acquiring more, but learning to appreciate what God has already placed in our hands. We can be so busy chasing the next blessing that we forget to enjoy the ones we prayed for 🙏🏽
Hi @Ekspym !
I hope you’re doing well.
My name is VIMIL. I’m a Tekken player, an active member of the Korean Tekken community, and an arcade lever maker based in South Korea.
I’m reaching out today first and foremost to express my sincere gratitude to you for creating the Tekken 6 launcher.
Thanks to your amazing work, I’ve been having an absolute blast playing the game again. Developing and sharing a tool like this for the community is no small feat, and as someone who deeply loves Tekken 6, I truly appreciate all your effort and dedication!
While enjoying the game, I thought of a small suggestion I’d love to humbly share with you, based on how Tekken 6 was played in Korea back in the day.
During the golden era of Korean arcades, most cabinets were set up with a "Health +1" setting, which increased the default HP by about 10%. Famous Korean tournament leagues—most notably TEKKEN CRASH—also officially adopted this boosted health setting for matches.
From our experience, this extra 10% health created a remarkably solid overall balance. It brought out the full potential of the Rage system, allowing for incredible comeback moments and making matches far more tense, tactical, and thrilling to play and watch.
I think it’s a wonderful balance setting that offers a great gameplay experience, so if you ever have the time, I’d be so grateful if you could test this setup out or consider it as an option!
Thank you once again for your fantastic contribution to the Tekken community, for your time, and for reading this message. Wishing you all the best with your projects!
Best regards,
VIMIL
From my lower end rigs:
Ryzen 4350g play it with ease
Intel i5-6300u can play it on low res.
Your rig can play DR rollback with ease, upscaled,8f rollback, enjoy ;]
Its nowhere near t6recomp in terms of requirements.
@TheWishin@VolSkimmer Right as I was about to post seems someone else had the same issue(game wasn't running full 60 fps no matter what stage/setting) and you looked into it, I'll retract my statement regarding the performance issue.
Tried this last night just out of boredom and it runs like dogwater(in local play why even bother with online) Heck the regular game runs better than this. I much rather use what @rencoding is going to put out. His port poops on this by far.
Im using ai for binary digging or boring/repetitive tasks
I dont need to ask ai for advice, netplay is what i do for 3 years now and i love it.
Im gonna do a vid on T5DR, so you can see full journey, the decisions, ideas, tech, what i found/used in game and judge if its vibing.
