How to be a spiritual leader in your household:

Thank God for everything that happens to you. This will stabilize you so that you are believable when you say it to others, and foster peace in them.

You still should let people grieve, and "weep with those who are weeping." But after, when you have thanked God, encourage them to join you.

This is one of the most important forms of leadership in a Christian family. The parents who dont do this foster fear, complaining, and disbelief.
