DAMASCUS, Syria - Ali Samer Al-Qawzi, 30, an #Alawite was killed under torture at Adra Central Prison on September 4, after months of arbitrary detention without charge or trial by Jolani’s #Islamic regime.

Al-Qawzi was targeted because of his non Muslim religious identity. Local sources also reported that security forces pressured his family to falsify the cause of death when receiving his body.

روان.. في ذكرى ميلادك التي كان من المفترض أن تزدان بالشموع والضحكات، نجد أنفسنا نوقد الذاكرة جمرةً لا تنطفئ. لم تكن الشابة مجرد عابرة في سجلات الزمن، بل كانت حكاية علمٍ وحياة، اغتالتها يد الفاشية الدينية بدمٍ بارد، لتأخذ معها في رحلة الشهادة والدتها وشقيقيها، محولةً البيت الدافئ إلى أثرٍ من وجع.

​نحن اليوم، وأكثر من أي وقت مضى، مطالبون كعلويين وأصحاب قضية ألا نعتاد. الاعتياد هو الخيانة الكبرى للدماء. إن استهدافنا وذبحنا وإبادتنا ليست أحداثاً عابرة تمر في شريط الأخبار لننساها مع الوقت، بل هي جرحٌ مفتوح في كياننا يتطلب منا يقظة الروح ورفض التسليم بمصير "الضحية الدائمة".

​لا تحملوا تذكار أحبتنا الشهداء كعبءٍ ثقيل، بل كبوصلة للحق. إن تكرار ذكرى روان وعائلتها وكل شهدائنا العلويين هو فعل مقاومة ضد النسيان، وإعلان صريح بأننا لا نملك ترف التعب من ذكراهم. قتلنا لم يكن يوماً حادثاً عرضياً، بل هو ضريبة الوجود والتمسك بالهوية في وجه أيديولوجيات الظلام.

​في يوم ميلادك يا روان، ننحني إجلالاً لروحك الطاهرة ولأرواح عائلتك. لن نعتاد القتل، ولن نملّ من قول الحقيقة، ولن تبرد في صدورنا نار المطالبة بالعدالة.

🇸🇾 REPORT | A New York Times investigation found that abductions of women and girls from Syria’s Alawite minority are far more widespread and brutal than authorities have acknowledged.

▫️While the government officially acknowledged only one "real" case, the Times verified the kidnappings of 13 Alawite women and girls and received reports of scores more.

▫️ Survivors reported being grabbed off the street in broad daylight, held in filthy conditions, beaten, and subjected to sexual violence. Five of the verified victims were raped, and two returned home pregnant.

▫️ Captors often explicitly targeted victims for being Alawite, at times citing extremist views that deem the minority "permissible to rob and rape". Other cases involved purely criminal extortion, with one family paying a $17,000 ransom for a relative who was never released. 

▫️Families and rights groups say many cases remain uninvestigated, pointing to a pattern of denial and limited accountability despite mounting evidence.

#Tartous: Dozens from the Sunni community took to the streets yesterday in Tartus city in a demonstration in support of Palestine, led by “the doctor” Muhammad Zuhair Yahya, chanting slogans such as “I now have a rifle, take me to Palestine under the banner of Tawhid”, “Khaybar, Khaybar, O Jews…”, as well as slogans expressing support for al-Jolani and awaiting orders from him.
