@terfinaa It's not an ad hom, that's a personal attack against you rather than address your point. It's just an insult to centrism that's it's dumb.
I'm not saying you uneducated just because. I've laid it out. I think that you are suggesting the left and right are a single ideology.
@terfinaa First you are acting as if centrism isn't an ideology you are loyal to.
Second, at least what you are presenting as the other ideologies seems as if you don't understand them, the many variables, the changing ideas within them, and frankly, what they even are.
@terfinaa If you can't see the criticism in my point, I think you might want to brush up on what being educated means.
I'm sure you have your ideology, but that doesn't mean you understand others. To conflate them all together is at the very least a bad argument.
I like how there's no substantiation to this. Even when many of those are not western cultures, several are very conservative, and maybe some have some feminist ideas.
Idk they can't substantiate it because they're dumb. I guess.
@ShadowDieThrice@JohnnyMnemoniXs@DenRayla10052@karen_sff@Oneiorosgrip Canada, Singapore, South Korea, Finland, Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, the UK, India, Mexico, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Israel, Sweden, Netherlands, Norway, Brazil, and Denmark all have feminist governments.
Except none of what they present disproves my point. Mainly because they fail to understand what the patriarchy and toxic masculinity and feminism even is.
They have to deride it with tm to feel special or something. Idk.
@JohnnyMnemoniXs It's also not what I asked for in academic or scientific research. Parliament is not either of those. Nor does bias toward women positively mean it's not patriarchy. Kind of like how Asian being good at math is racist.
Feminists define patriarchy as a system in which men have power and women don't, not by who is in politics.
The claim that women don't have power is easily debunked by the fact that women were able to get political changes to occur without holding positions of legislative or executive responsibility.
Women in politics today have thrown that system entirely into imbalance by making society's decisions regarding women's interests, specifically, society's moral measuring stick.
That's why, when we've had laws against domestic violence for as long as law have existed and even after this was federalized in the 20th century, feminists refused to acknowledge any such existing law until after 1994 when they got it gendered.
Everything that was needed was done by the gender-neutral law, FVPSA. It federally standardized a response to DV regardless of the sex or age of the victim. When feminists got VAWA passed in 1994 to "update" it, the law went from gender-neutral language to being about male perpetration and female victims. It went from funding shelters based on non-discriminatory requirements to allowing male victims to be excluded from all forms of assistance.
It funded Duluth model training for all levels of the criminal justice system, writing bias into the policies of police, prosecutors, and court personnel.
Feminists got a feminist law introduced by legislators and signed by a US president because women are society's moral measuring stick.
Because we're not the "Patriarchy" of feminist imagining, in which women & women's interest groups have no power, and no influence.
@JohnnyMnemoniXs Civil servants aren't the government, the people making decisions. They are the people executing the orders from the government.
That's not shifting the goal post. Maybe that's on me for not clarifying what I mean.
This is showing the patriarchy is going away at least socially yes. Completely agree with that.
However the government is made up of far more men than women. So are company leaderships. And the pay gap is still a problem.
The anecdote about families is not stats. Show that 1st
@JohnnyMnemoniXs I love how conservatives do this bullshit. Like give me a piece of research that backs up your claim. You just look like you're throwing things at the wall otherwise.
YouTube is not research :) hope that helps.
@JohnnyMnemoniXs You'd need to show me otherwise but my understand is penetration is rape in the UK. Sexual assault is still any unwanted sexual contact so it's a moot point. Dumb situation but the legal system likes t do that.
None of this disproves there is a systemic favor to the power of men
@JohnnyMnemoniXs Monarchy is very patriarchal. It's only not to keep the family in power and not create problems with inheritance. That's a huge detriment to your point.
3 female prime ministers out of? It's something like 200 and all of them in the last 50 years correct?
