@FrostDrakeHeart I just think they suck thematically, they should be used for non-monster related crafting recipes like the old special and joke weapons but those have been phased out for "defender" and "blacksmith"
@TRIPSTER0 Shifting to PC was about consumer control. Taking physical from the console market is about removing consumer control. There's no other motive, they aren't losing money on manufacturing, the profit they save from not producing physical is secondary to exerting control.
@angelodotsui The game isn't worth either price, I'd chew out nintendo for the 20$ if it was a person I could face and I wouldn't even consider shopping at a game store selling it for 160$. I know the physical item is now scarce, and a collector's thing but it just isn't worth it.
@SGR_SEAN I think in this specific case Panline loses the nuance when the it is is not just aesthetically similar, but also the same kind of game with mostly the same gameplay loop. Their previous game Ikarus is actually a way better example of inspired but not copying.
@Firebreather452 At this point, given the huge backlash, if their plan was to introduce new physical media they would have made that announcement in a heartbeat to recover.
