@VexTheSunEater You seem like a cool person. I haven't seen much, if any, content of yours but fuck it, screw that noise. There are a lot of people out there that who see you, for you, even if they aren't speaking up about it. Anyway, if you're interested in pf2e or TTRPG stuff, hit me up.
@GrimmiVT I work 3rd and have been for several years now. Its become 2nd nature. The "worst" part for me is watching the world go by. The "best" part is that I can watch the world go by. Being up all night can be harsh. However, your streams/yt do help when the former mood strikes. Thanks.
@WizardPony@TieflingMelissa Hahaha, I get that! I've been around since AD&D myself! :3 I work 3rd shift east coast USA, though. I can't really just pop over to someone's place at 3am and be like D&D TIME! I do miss it at times, heh.
@WizardPony@TieflingMelissa I totally agree that they're their own obstacle. I've been running homebrew and APs on Foundry, it *does* take time to prep! Its not to dissimilar than I would have done normally; it does help though with metagaming/secret keeping for and with players though.
@TieflingMelissa I have a few decades (I'm old :<) of experience in GM'ing, and several specifically in the VTT space for pf2e and the beginner box specifically. If interested I can detail it in your discord. I do you can give it a try some time it's a great time.
@TieflingMelissa@WizardPony About the choice paralysis, if I may. FoundryVTT & Paizo's beginner box is a great 2-3 shot that has 4 characters ready made: the "iconics" - fighter, cleric, rogue, wizard. PF is fully "doable" through limitation rather than D&D's "need" to add things to it.
@PESTRiCA_R It's appreciated. With all the *motions around at the world* stuff going on to see just wholesome, talented, content from someone who genuinely enjoys what they do. It's a breath of fresh air and a reminder that the world isn't all dark.
Thank you.
@PESTRiCA_R Hey, sleep is all good. Honestly though, after lurking and watching your crazy wonderful wholesomeness I might actually try this out. Thank you.
@TieflingMelissa@GameLanternMRTN Oh! This is something I can help with! I've run pf2e weekly for several years now. What I've done for my players is get them in the mindset of D&D being 'class build' over 'character build'. For pf2e once you know who your character is/them it becomes easier to focus down.
@obkatiekat Hey, no worries. If you're ever in the mood to just chill you're always welcome at any pf2e (pathfinder2e) table of mine. I can run you and a few friends through the beginner box, off stream, no strings attached. Roll some dice, kill some bad guys and have a good time.
@TieflingMelissa For my players, at least, they want to bring more of themselves to their character with personalized gear: staves, weapons, armors and the like. Knowing they won't immesiately out level it gives me a chance to build it straight into world lore. Thank you for bring this up!
@TieflingMelissa Milestones help me with balance and length of arc progression so that I don't level my players out of the arc. What they *are* rewarded with is the discovery of ancestries, classes and lore that was hidden previously.
