A Special Flag Hoisting Ceremony was held today to commemorate the 136th Anniversary of Customs.

The ceremony was attended by Minister Ali Ihusaan, Commissioner General Fathimath Dhiyana, Deputy Commissioners, members of the Senior Management, and Customs Officers.

Today, we proudly commemorate the 136th Anniversary of the Maldives Customs Service, the longest-serving state institution in the Maldives. Officially established on 18th July 1890, the Maldives Customs Service has served the nation with dedication & integrity for over a century.

The programme is designed as an immersive learning journey-covering field-level interdiction, risk management, passenger and air-cargo controls, and exposure to systems such as National Customs Targeting Centre (NCTC).
