Gonna post some damn good house music/dance music while this isolation is going on, some of these artists are hella underground so enjoy digging through the online crates for some of their dope releases that haven't seen the light of day
Tell everyone with $Zec to unshield and fork the chain after fixing the issue with some sort of 1:1 migration? The big question is if the exploit was done or not, if everyone unshields it’ll be pretty revealing
It's official:
Canada has unexpectedly entered a technical recession for the first time since the pandemic lockdowns in 2020.
Real GDP in Canada fell -0.1% in Q1 2026 following a -1.0% contraction in Q4 2025.
This marks two-straight quarters of GDP contraction for the first time in six years.
Economists had expected Q1 GDP growth of +1.5%, yet the economy suddenly contracted.
The weak GDP data coincides with a weak job market as well, as the Canadian economy is likely to remain under pressure amid ongoing US tariffs.
Meanwhile, the household saving rate fell to 3.5%, reaching its lowest level since the Q1 2024 as spending rose faster than incomes.
Canada is facing a major economic slowdown.
There was an incredible Reddit post this week to the Alberta separatists explaining how difficult the process is by design not just for Canada but for the exiting province, I’d link it and it really pulls back the curtains that this growing separatist stuff is really a waste of time
I wish I could find it
Everyone wants a scapegoat to blame for crypto's failure. Some blame binance, some blame Trump and some blame DATs. There's others to blame too - all the gazillion L2s and infra projects, team extractors, etc etc. At the end of the day, all of these players are serving a need - either to provide an in-demand service or investment opportunities for VCs or solve genuine tech issues.
Instead of pointing blame, we need to detach ourselves from PA and leverage for a short moment, and talk about @chameleon_jeff@HyperliquidX $HYPE achievements instead.
Stablecoins, digital self-custody, 24/7 markets, just to mention a few.
Crypto will survive, it'll just look very different. Most of the big tokens that were gonna launch have already launched, and most have been disappointments.
Very clear investment and building opportunities will arise in crypto this year, and it's very important that believers capitalise on those so that we can continue evolving.

On iOS and macOS, WhatsApp stores chat databases unencrypted in an app group container accessible to apps from the same developer. So all Meta apps on the same iPhone (e.g., Facebook) can read WA chats in plaintext without permission, and users wouldn't be notified. Demo👇
