If there’s nobody depending on you, no future to build towards, and no legacy to establish, then most men will do the absolute bare minimum to survive. Knowing men, that requires very little effort to achieve.

Men ultimately become better when people depend on them and respect their authority. That’s why the saying goes, “pressure makes diamonds.”

So this loss of male effort isn’t just disastrous for society, but for the man’s life as well. We are expecting men to somehow suppress such a strong biological drive.

If society thinks gaming, gambling, and porn addictions are bad now, give it another 10-15 years.

Because at the end of the day we are all human beings who crave intimacy, companionship, and community.

You can bandage that void with cheap dopamine, but you can’t simply turn off those fundamental human needs.
