इंडिपेंडेंट पत्रकार हर्ष यादव को दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर हो रहे प्रोटेस्ट के दौरान पुलिस ने हिरासत में लेने की कोशिश की। काफी देर के संघर्ष के बाद वो हिरासत में लिए जाने से बच गए।

दिल्ली पुलिस की यह हरकत सही नहीं है। पत्रकार किसी संस्था से जुड़ा हो या इंडिपेंडेंट हो, पत्रकारिता करना उसका हक है। सिर्फ रिपोर्टिंग करने की वजह से किसी पत्रकार को हिरासत में लेना गलत है।

उत्तर प्रदेश की आशा वर्कर्स बहिनें अपनी जायज मांगों को लेकर पूरे प्रदेश में आंदोलनरत हैं। इसी क्रम में लखनऊ के ईको गार्���न में भी हजारों की संख्या में बहिनों ने प्रदर्शन कर सरकार से अपने अधिकारों की मांग की।

आशा वर्कर्स बहिनें प्रदेश की स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था की महत्वपूर्ण जमीनी कड़ी हैं। इसके बावजूद महज 2,000 से 3,500 रुपये तक की प्रोत्साहन राशि मिलती है। टीकाकरण के लिए 75 रुपये और प्रसव के लिए 600 रुपये जैसी प्रोत्साहन राशियों पर काम करना पड़ता है, जबकि भुगतान में लंबे समय तक देरी की शिकायतें भी सामने आती हैं।

मुख्य��ंत्री @myogiadityanath जी, आशा कर्मी बहिनों का कहना है कि आज की आसमान छूती महंगाई में इतनी कम राशि में परिवार चलाना बेहद मुश्किल हो गया है।

24 घंटे उपलब्ध रहने वाली इन बहिनों के काम के घंटे तक तय नहीं हैं। वर्षों से स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था की महत्वपूर्ण कड़ी के रूप में सेवाएं देने के बावजूद उन्हें राज्य स्वास्थ्यकर्मी का दर्जा, न्यूनतम वेतन, मातृत्व अवकाश, ESI, भविष्य निधि, ग्रेच्युटी और पेंशन जैसी सामाजिक स��रक्षा नहीं मिल रही है।

@UPGovt आशा वर्कर्स बहिनों की वर्षों से चली आ रही मांगों को नजरअंदाज करने के बजाय तत्काल संवाद करे और उनके लंबित भुगतान, उचित वेतन तथा सामाजिक सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करे।

भीम आर्मी-आजाद समाज पार्टी (कांशीराम) आशा वर्कर्स बहिनों की मांगों का पूर्ण समर्थन करती है। उत्तर प्रदेश में हमारी सरकार बनने पर सरकारी कर्मचारियों के लिए न्यूनतम 25,000 रुपये प्रतिमाह वेतन सुनिश्चित किया जाएगा।

आशा बहिनों का सम्मान, उनके अधिकार और सम्मानजनक वेतन की गारंटी हमारी प्रतिबद्धता है।
