What a privilege it is to have called this place home!
These two pics are 3 years apart…
The one on the left: I’d just arrived in #Tokyo having left my beloved #Sydney.
Emotional and overwhelmed, I could hardly fathom where I landed let alone how I was going to tell the story of this beautiful , strange and VERY different place! Had I made I mistake?! I thought… Should I had never left Oz!
Fast forward 3 yrs to the pic on the right: at exactly the same place in #Shibuya , what you don’t see are the tears … I can tell you now hand on heart - that living + working in Japan is hard but leaving is much harder.
