I can no longer deal with the boring, manufactured, redundant, non-drama of Ben and Ciara slobbering all over each other and their dialogue that amounts to nothing more than cliched platitudes.
The worst couple in daytime. #Days
@nbcdays If that's supposed to symbolize the "future" of #DAYS, ratings below 1.5 million viewers are guaranteed in the course of 2020. How the hell can the producers continue ignoring the best writing and ratings period of the last 10 years and enabling the worst?? #WilSon#TomSell@NBC
@paultempledete1 @THEBEST11985 @nbcdays@carlivatiron Most importantly, all gay characters are now almost completely sexless -- even CM and FS talked about this in their recent statement. And there's so much more we've tweeted about over the last 2 years, but nobody seemed to care. #DAYS#WilSon
@paultempledete1 @THEBEST11985 @nbcdays@carlivatiron So, if anything, it was predictable that the current #DAYS regime would axe the gay characters/storyline first chance they'd get or whenever the budget would get even tigther. They've been mere bystanders and reduced to totally absurd, abusive and cartoonish bs plots anyway.
It’s one thing if an actor willingly decides to leave a role but to have two popular actors in popular roles to be let go, it’s a totally different beast. So disappointed. #WilSon
@nicholsevansfan@Toridwn The first budget cut should have been Ron Carlivati's salary. But @NBC is very obviously just standing by and watching how Corday/Meng continue pushing #DAYS to the point of no return (cancellation), so they can start the 5th hour of TODAY next year.
@Toridwn#DAYS continues to ignore which characters & storylines gave them the 2010's best ratings. But what to expect from execs that are still in love with a head writer that has brought the show to permanent ratings lows!? Which is the actual reason for budget cuts in the 1st place.
@Paulie2906 We've been tweeting about this for years. That's something that never could have happened with #TomSell#MultiYearRatingsHighs (2012-15) as head writers. Why the hell are #DAYS execs constantly ignoring the best ratings period they had over the last 10 years??? @NBC
@THEBEST11985 If Ron Carlivati wants to see how proud gay men write gay characters and stories, he should watch #TomSell's storylines from 2012 to 2015, which happened to produce #Days's best ratings of the last 10 years. With the gay characters always front/center.
@NotBoyfriends#TomSell had the perfect mix of vets and interesting, new characters with timely stories, which gave #Days the best ratings of the last 10 years in 2013 and 2014. The only persons to be fired is the head writer with his dumb, recycled plots.
