I congratulate the international champion, the young and talented Kurdish fighter, Namo Fazil, on his remarkable and outstanding victory achieved in MMA competitions in the United States. He is a source of pride for all Kurds and Kurdistan. I extend my sincere appreciation and wish him continued success, progress, and further achievements in his career.
I spoke by telephone with my brother HH Sheikh @MohamedBinZayed, to discuss ways to further strengthen relations between the Kurdistan Region and the UAE, as well as developments in the region.
I reiterated our position of support and the condemnation of the recent attacks targeting the UAE and reaffirmed the importance of maintaining peace and stability across the region.
I am deeply concerned by the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington and relieved that President Trump, the First Lady, the Vice President and members of the Cabinet, journalists, and guests are unharmed. Violence has no place in public life.
Exciting news!

I strongly condemn the heinous attacks by terrorist militias targeting the U.S. Consulate General and civilian areas in Erbil. These deliberate acts of aggression pose a grave threat to the security and stability of the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the wider region. This is unacceptable.
I once again call unequivocally upon the federal government in Baghdad to take immediate, decisive, and tangible actions against these outlaw armed groups and militias. It is incumbent upon the federal government to use all means to thwart these terrorist attacks and bring those responsible to justice.
