@barchiervd Yea I think Archie really got shafted this entire season. He went from main character/literal heart of the town to…whatever they made him this season 😢 It wasn’t really until THAT scene with Betty that I recognized S1-6 Archie.

So many thoughts about the Riverdale series finale. It was emotional. It was good but not great. I agree with what I’ve seen that it was a good wrap up to S7…but not the entire series. It took a show that was like 75% about romantic ships and said control delete.

@snowbarchie I like it. I want to believe it personally but I feel like the writers purposefully made it a choose your own adventure of sorts as a cop out and that kinda sucks. By making nobody completely happy

All this to say remember when the series ended with a comet coming to destroy the world and our childhood besties-lovers couple spent one last night together, hoping they make it so they can get married and have a family together and continue to make their home a better place 🥹

ba were giving…nothing..unfortunately past the Halloween ep😖 Archie was such a caricature of himself this season that it kind of ruined it for me. We didn’t really see OUR Archie until the finale and then we were told he farted off into the sunset with a rando😅

Yep, to me seems like a cop out. They don’t want to upset anybody so they are just making it super ambiguous and giving nobody endgame which just makes everybody unhappy. What a waste.

I was on board for the ‘50s storyline on #Riverdale WAY longer than most, but why didn’t they take even, like, the last 5-6 episodes and have the characters remember/find a way home?

That would have been so fun to watch? Is this just a way to escape endgames lol
