A research lab and product studio building the infrastructure for intelligence .

Here’s why we exist.

We have been building this in silence.
We research how intelligence perceives, reasons, and acts.

Not a model company. Not a wrapper. Not a chatbot. No interest in bolting LLMs onto existing tools, optimizing for engagement, or shipping demos and calling it an agent.

Research without product is just paper. Product without research is just imitation. We do both.

Marrow is coming. The closest thing to Jarvis that actually fits inside a computer. It lives on your laptop. It watches what you do. It talks to you. It asks questions. We just published a Next.js starter for RetainDB.

It gives you an AI chat app with persistent memory out of the box — built with Next.js 15, the Vercel AI SDK, and RetainDB.

You can tell the assistant something, come back in a new session, and it still remembers.

The part I like most is how little code it takes. Wrap your model with `withRetainDB(...)`, pass a `userId`, and it handles retrieval + memory storage for you.

If you’re building AI products and don’t want “stateless assistant” behavior by default, this is a good place to start.
