Writers I used to like so much that I got embarrassed about liking until I became sort of a hater of, and then revisited again and liked just as much
- Nietzsche
- Nabokov
- Pynchon
- I'm sure there's another maybe Martin Amis
I've tried to read Laura Warholic like 3 times and every time I'm like this needs an editor BADLY. I can't get through it. It's structured in a way that's confusing but not like Gene Wolfe confusing in a cool way, but like the Theroux has mild dementia and no editor
We're never going to have a 'civil war' in the sense of going out and fighting regular ass people. Who's gonna wear the correct uniform and make themselves a target like that? Lol. It'd be like The Invention of Lying. 'I'll just wear the wrong uniform and take w everyone out.'

It’s interesting to see the varying levels of “I don’t give a fuck” in the design and execution of pretty much all promotional material for the movie Clifford
