Rock slides & flooding couldn’t keep our @NCPFellows from having our last inspiring Leadership Day in @WataugaSchools today! Wisdom from a wise BOE Chair, passionate principals, committed directors & award-winning teachers rounded out our tour of 10 school districts in 2 years!

[Betsy Rosenbalm @brosenbalm]

Our @AppstateRCOE @NCPFellows had an inspiring day in @acs_schools with @Eisa_Cox, Roy Putman & team! The principal panels, central office speed dating, community scavenger hunt, gallery walk & interview question practice were all amazing experiences for our future leaders!!

Mr. Williams kicked off LOVE THE BUS week with an early bus ride to school. Mrs. Beth picked up Mr. Williams on her morning bus route. Watch for more staff members joining our bus fleet this week! Thanks to all of our drivers for all they do. #ignitelearningbcps @ves_tigers

Tomorrow we celebrate 100 days of school! 100 tigers are hidden throughout classrooms. We hope to fill our 100 Days of being Tigerrific board before school ends tomorrow. Some tigers are marked with special celebratory prizes. Good luck Tigers! @ignitelearningbcps

Due to current heavy wind and rain predictions for our area, Burke County Schools will operate on a Remote Learning Day for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
Our concern is the safety of our students and staff. High winds and flooding will make road conditions dangerous.

Almost 300 of our students along with their families rang in the Christmas season as they performed at the Town of Valdese tree lighting. What a great evening. Just another reason why Valdese is a great place to work and learn. #ignitelearningbcps @ves_tigers

This is one of the many reasons why I love being the principal at VES. Nothing better than a shout out in the town Christmas parade from the COUNTY CHAMPIONS! #tigerstrong #ignitelearningbcps @ves_tigers
