Growing up, my Muslim family never celebrated Christmas. This year I am not going home, because pandemic, so my roommates are teaching me how to have my first proper Christmas.

@apbenven I’m a single parent and can confirm it is very hard. But luckily my teenage boys still give me hugs and my younger daughter still snuggles with me at night watching TV. It’s balm for my soul. Relaxing rules and expectations of myself also helped. A lot!
