The @CMAgovUK just announced its plan for the UK’s digital market, and it feels like a "Get Out of Jail Free" card for the hyperscalers.
The decision to only target Microsoft for an SMS investigation while letting AWS skate by with "voluntary commitments" is a massive oversight.

European players are already exponentially eating up US dominant market share in the European cloud services market. I've received a lot of push back on my last post about the massive EuroStack migration ("The Greatest Trade Ever") that is moving Euro-tech away from the US.

Yet this alone is a ~$170 billion market and it is shaped by forces no US tech giant can't control anymore. And we are just at the beginning of a process that is getting now accelerated by US geopolitical idiocy.

The fact that you don't see it yet, is just because all exponential phenomena are invisible, until they are everywhere...
