STT is a draconian tax which was brought in to replace LTCG. People trusted them.

But we were fooled in 2018 as LTCG got reintroduced again with STT.

In FY22-23 STT collected was 25,000 crores, this number in FY24-25 went up to 53,000 crores !!

Today the STT collected is more than the money brokers & traders make - meaning they even make money when we lose or end up breakeven !
