That’s what I’m watching with @fomopoly_rh.

Built on Robinhood Chain, Fomopoly revolves around buying and selling virtual land plots, with an economy involving stock generation and $DEAL tokens.

As plot prices are expected to rise, early entrants and later players could face very different decisions about when to buy, sell, or hold.

There’s also a free-mint opportunity for selected participants, offering another potential entry point into the game.

⇨ THE MECHANIC I’M MOST CURIOUS ABOUT

The hidden mechanic.

If it meaningfully affects player decisions, it could add another layer to land ownership, turning timing, opportunity, and risk into part of the competition.

Players wouldn’t just ask which plot to acquire.

They’d also have to consider when to enter, when to trade, and what they might miss by waiting.

But there’s an important distinction:

FOMO can drive initial participation. It doesn’t automatically create a sustainable game economy.

The real test is how land ownership, stock generation, plot pricing, and $DEAL interact once players start competing.

Do these mechanics create meaningful choices over time, or does the excitement depend mainly on rising prices and early access?
