ED, Gurugram Zonal Office, has carried out search operations at 7 locations at Gurugram and New Delhi on 20.08.2025 under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 in connection with investigation related to illegal call centre scam wherein foreign customers (Mainly US citizens) were duped in the guise of providing non-existent tech support services to the tune of US$ 15 Million from November 2022 to April 2024. During the searches, various incriminating documents, digital devices, 8 luxury cars and various high valued luxury watches were recovered and seized, along with 30 bank accounts linked with the accused persons were frozen.
