Today I started my respiratory ICU placement at Medway Maritime Hospital and I’ve had a great first day!
I have been assigned a clinical project looking into lower limb exercises for ICU patients, any guidance would be greatly appreciated! :)

Just watched @PhysioArmstrong’s YouTube video on preparing for a respiratory physio placement. It was extremely helpful in planning key areas of revision + I gained some great advice from the respiratory physio community. Definitely going to share the video with my peers👍🏼

I’m looking forward to my first respiratory practice placement at Medway Maritime’s critical care unit. I’m excited to learn in a new environment and develop as a physio student. Any tips / useful reading material would be helpful!
