part for me. Encouragement from @ASTsupportAAli, @AishaUmmKhalid and @MsACHistory1 etc was a game changer.
I appreciate even more how #lockdown has changed #Ramadan for all observing.
There’s something so comforting about a shared faith and I got a small taste of this today.
Reflections on #ShareRamadan:
I’m in awe of my colleagues and friends who turn up to work and teach while observing #Ramadan.
I missed liquid more than food.
I missed the ritual of making a cup of tea, not just the caffeine!
The sharing part of this was the most special
@treesy99 It’s quite common to feel like this. Not long to go now. You’re doing brilliantly. The pizza you’re making will taste so delicious #ShareRamadan

@ASTsupportAAli Personally for me fasting and the month of Ramadan is an opportunity to press the reset button. It makes me realise we can eat less and do not need to indulge literally every day. It is something I like to take forward after the month is over #ShareRamadan
@ShareRamadan
First struggle. Went for walk and it was sunny and hot. Would definitely normally make a pint of squash and/or a cup of tea on return.
Second struggle. Family are sitting down to lunch in the garden. I am putting a chair in the shade to read.

7 and 9 year old have just talked me through each of the Five Pillars of Islam with very accurate knowledge.
7 year old even demonstrated some of the prayer positions.
