"Own the world with responsibility and an attitude of progressing together without dwelling on small things."
Interacted with youth from across India at the Gen Z 2.0 meet at the Bengaluru Ashram.
Congratulations to Mukesh Ambani on Jio’s successful IPO! A homegrown Indian success story that made digital connectivity affordable for millions and transformed India’s digital landscape. Building for Bharat, inspiring the world!
We put “Do Not Disturb” signs on our doors. Sometimes the mind needs one too. A few moments of meditation can bring us back to the present. An evening in Boston, Massachusetts.
Gave a keynote at Tomorrowland’s Love Tomorrow Summit and led the audience through a meditation. Joris Beckers, Founder and Head of Love Tomorrow, is doing wonderful work to uplift people’s spirits amid two ongoing wars.
The voices of India’s youth deserve to be heard with patience. A breakdown in communication serves no one and is deeply unfortunate. Very sorry to see the current state of affairs.
Q: Gurudev, there are many young children who are aware and awake, and know that they are here for some important work. How do we support these gifted children?
@Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji - Yes, there are many children who are telling their parents that my real home, my real family is in the ashram. Many children are saying these sort of things around the world; many have become vegetarians, isn’t it? How many of you have seen that? Many children like or love chanting.
Yesterday, I saw on a news channel in India that there was a child born to the royal family of Bhutan. He said, “I have come here after 828 years; I was a teacher and a student in Nalanda University, take me there.” And so they took the child from Bhutan to Bihar in India. The child was all dressed in a robe, looked like a monk; he could recall where he used to sit, what was there and everything around.
There are so many such incidents even in The @ArtofLiving. One child in The Art of Living recently said, “I was a Rishi in the Himalayas, and now I have come.” He is a one and half year-old child; he calls my name so perfectly, “Gurudev”. He takes the rudraksha mala, puts it around and says, “This is the rudraksha mala!”
There are many such children. You will find this occurring more in Russia and Mongolia.
Question - Gurudev, I always feel that I have received more than I deserve, and I feel uncomfortable..
@Gurudev Sri Sri - You should feel comfortable. When you feel you have received more than you deserve, you become grateful, you feel life is a gift to you. When you feel that you really deserve this, then you become arrogant, dominant, rude, and rough. It is only when you realize that you are not worthy of what you have received and what you are receiving, then you become humble and more grateful! The more grateful you are, the higher you go; humility in you takes you high.
Question - Gurudev, How to get rid of stress, other than practicing meditation?
@Gurudev Sri Sri - Drive a car behind a bicycle. Slow down and cool down.

Why Do Some Seekers Progress Faster on the Spiritual Path Than Others?
@Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji decodes this most wondered confusion in the minds of seekers 🔥. Read and watch the video below 🙌
What Kind of Spiritual Seeker Are You?
Some seekers go to a spiritual discourse only when they have some free time.
When?
When there is no good serial on television, when no one has come to the house to gossip, and when there is nothing interesting on any other channel. Then they tune in to a channel where a spiritual discourse is going on.
The moment the news comes on somewhere else, they switch away from the spiritual discourse!
In this way, there are seekers who give the lowest level of importance to Satsang and spiritual practice. Naturally, they will receive only that much.
Then there are some people who have greater strength, enthusiasm, and interest in their Sadhana. They receive more. They progress further on the path than those whose intensity is less.
And those who pursue it with complete intensity receive it immediately.
For Samadhi, only this intensity matters.
For many people, spirituality is merely a fashion, a way to show others that they are very spiritual:
"I also do Sadhana. I also did the course. I also sit in meditation."
It becomes a display for others.
Even having a Guru has become a fashion for some people:
"Look, I too have a Guruji. So I too am a spiritual person. I don't just drink alcohol or take drugs. Look, I am very spiritual!"
Just to show this, they make someone their Guru.
But there is no genuine truthfulness within them, no real interest in knowledge, no genuine thirst for anything deeper. It is merely for show.
Spirituality for display.
"I am also spiritual."
Why?
Because then people may respect them. People may think:
"This is a good person."
Some people also use the appearance of spirituality simply to gain the trust of others. They may apply big tilaks and adopt external symbols so that others see them as spiritual and trustworthy.
But true spirituality does not come through ostentation, hypocrisy, or external appearances.
The real question is:
Is there a genuine thirst for truth within the mind?
Is there an intense longing that says:
"I want to know the ultimate truth."
"I have to make this life meaningful."
"Who am I?"
If that intensity is truly there, then Samadhi, the state of meditative absorption, will be attained.
