“Universities should not field players who have bet on their own team’s games in college athletics”
There’s only one school in this conference that has done so, and that school is not named Texas Tech 🤔
'PTI' debates Brendan Sorsby injunction:
"Every other school in that conference and in the SEC and in the Big Ten would look at taking a guy like Sorsby, because he's a very good quarterback." 🏈 🤔
Everyone I’ve talked to who knows Brendan Sorsby speaks highly of him as a guy you’d want as the face of your program. I have friends who’ve gone down some dark holes from gambling too, and I know how easy it is. I’m sympathetic to all of it. But if the NCAA can’t police gambling on your own school… we’re done here. There’s no chance any rules will ever matter if there’s a friendly local judge or enough $$ at stake.
@KyleKingsley@slmandel We had three players on our roster two years ago after our head coach left. Of course we're a team of transfers!! I'm taking the L. Texas outplayed us and were the better team in this series. But the narrative is so tiring.
