@RobFinnertyUSA Please reconsider that comment about Nairobi. By that logic, one could just as easily equate New York with Dhaka. Perhaps a bit more travel would help. Nairobi is a green and beautiful city. Like any city, we have our challenges, but they don't justify such an uninformed remark.
What good is a scientific breakthrough if it never reaches the people who need it most?

Honoured to deliver keynote virtually at the Science Summit Nairobi 2026 @StrathU@ScienceUnga , I emphasized the need to move from research to impact—connecting evidence to innovation, investment, adoption and solutions that improve lives. Africa must increasingly shape the global research agenda, strengthen scientific leadership and accelerate commercialisation and technology transfer. Science must ultimately create opportunities, resilience and socioeconomic transformation. @TheLandAlliance@SEIresearch@nacosti@nrfkenya@KENIAupdates@OfficePCS_KE@sri_kenya@ISC@AASciences@pthigo@SingoeiAKorir@MusaliaMudavadi #ScienceSummitNairobi2026 #Research #Innovation #STI

@cobbo3 And the way their coffee tastes terrible! Why is Kenya not at the top of this rank? Our coffee is truly the best; even the worst coffee in Kenya tastes great in comparison to Ethiopian coffee
@DonaldBKipkorir They should allow us to own JKIA through a dedicated infrastructure fund; that Zimbabwe thug should not be allowed to manage any country’s airport.
@scherargei Western Kenya moves BILLION worth of goods in fish, sugar, tea, rice, maize that feeds this nation. Yet our farmers pay transport costs 3 to 4x higher than Central Province farmers to reach the SAME Nairobi. That differential IS the poverty you see that must be corrected!
@Hon_Njeri_Maina Go back to school and learn about Economic Impact, Real Options Analysis, and Lifecycle Cost Analysis economic models of calculating the ROI. Don’t fake intelligence, it’s unbecoming of one who seeks leadership. You’d better to stick to what you actually understand 🙏🏾

Orengo begged William Ruto for money to complete it. Ruto gave it to him despite Orengo insulting him numerously.
