So proud of our @RockyForkMS Science Olympiad team! Placed in MANY events and 4th overall for middle school division. Our kids are headed to state! #science#proudteachers#BoltUp
As educators rethink next year- If all we come up with is passing out diagnostic tests to quantify learning loss and then track kids into groups for remediation, it will be a terrible failure of imagination.
Ending this week with a delicious meal! Shout out to Mr. Arocho and Mr. Meraz for our steak and chicken feast!! So thankful for our Storm Strong crew!!! #appreciateteacherseveryday#yum#BOLTUP⚡️
We practiced creating models and diagrams in 7th grade science today @RockyForkMS! The kids did great and it was a fun way to show how much they know in preparation for tomorrow’s science TNReady test! #WeAreReady for #TNReady @NathanSweet24
Gotta do what you gotta do to keep the kiddos engaged in learning! Each class got to pick out part of my outfit if they won the competition. What do you think of our 7th grade style?? @RockyForkMS#7Awesome#FrizzleTime#AceThatTest
Today is the 1 year anniversary of our schools closing due to the pandemic. We didn’t get to have a normal end of the year last year - we missed out on a lot and my heart still hurts from it. But I’m planning on making up for all of that this year! #BetterDays#Grateful
Don’t assume the happy, energetic person you work with isn’t struggling with issues and emotions. Outward appearance is not an indication of having it all together. Even a princess can struggle!
Being a perfectionist and feeling unworthy are two sides of the same coin. Because you feel unworthy you strive to be perfect to validate yourself. You strive to prop up your identity with perfect outcomes and accomplishments. Remind yourself that you are worthy. You are enough.
