Third grade students received a visit from the Raleigh Dance Theatre. They learned dance moves as they discussed book characters and their feelings. They will soon visit the Fletcher Opera House, to see the dancers dance on their own stage. @wcpssmagnets#artsanddesign
Today our 5th graders had an amazing presentation from the NC State Pack Motorsports SAE Team. Our students saw how they worked together using the design process to prototype a formula one race car. #builtdifferently@NCState@wildwoodmagnet
First Grade read the book The Little Red Pen by Janet Stevens and Susan Crummel. Little Red Pen has to grade papers and accidentally rolls into the trash can. They then designed their own way, they could use common materials to rescue a pen out of a bin. @wcpssmagnets#design

To all educators, we need to remind ourselves that we don’t have to be perfect. Success isn’t perfection. Instead, it’s the relentless pursuit of growth, striving to be better than we were yesterday, and continuously trying to increase our impact on our students’ learning. ❤️
