“I thought I’d never feel normal again…”
At just 30, a working professional from Pune fought endless burps, nausea & headaches — all from H. pylori.
Two months later, she’s symptom-free — no harsh meds, just food, nutraceuticals & lifestyle.
Her healing journey will inspire you

One of my diabetes clients (age 60 female) came to me because her blood sugars were never settling despite taking medicines.
But sugar wasn’t her only concern.
She had acidity and needed an antacid almost every week.
Severe gas after meals.
And a painful frozen shoulder that made daily activities difficult.
We started working on her metabolic health with a low-carb approach, better protein intake, the right nutrition, and a targeted supplement protocol.
Just one month later…
Her blood sugars started staying in the normal range (while continuing her medicines).
No antacids for the last one month.
Gas completely settled.
And her frozen shoulder pain reduced drastically.
Many people don’t realize that long-term high blood sugar can affect collagen and increase inflammation, making frozen shoulder more common and more difficult to recover from.
The shoulder still needs movement and physiotherapy, but don’t ignore your metabolic health.
Sometimes, improving your blood sugar helps more than just your diabetes.
Sharing her plate below

"I eat healthy."
That's what many people tell me.
Then I ask what they ate yesterday.
Breakfast: Poha + tea.
Lunch: Rice, roti, dal. Sometimes salad or vegetables. (Vegetable just 2-3 spoons )
Evening: Biscuits with tea.
Dinner: Whatever was available.
Prefer homemade meals only and wonder the bloating, acidity and constipation are still there.
Instead of searching for another supplement, start fixing your plate.
Replace poha with eggs or a protein-rich breakfast.
Add good amount of salad with lunch.
Include a handful of nuts or seeds as healthy fats.
Prioritize protein in every meal.
Your gut doesn't improve because of one "superfood."
It improves when every meal gives it what it actually needs.

“You gave me a long list of foods to avoid… but tell me what I should actually eat?”
I hear this almost every week.
When people have acidity, bloating, constipation, or IBS, they become so scared of food that every meal feels like a risk.
My answer is usually much simpler than they expect.
Start with foods your gut is more likely to tolerate consistently.
These three vegetables are regulars in many of my clients’ meal plans:
• Turai – light, water-rich, and generally easy to digest, especially when someone is recovering from digestive discomfort.
• Bhindi – rich in soluble fiber and natural mucilage, which can help support bowel regularity and contribute to a healthy gut environment.
• Palak – provides fiber, folate, magnesium, and plant compounds that support overall gut and metabolic health.
Will these three vegetables alone heal your gut?
No.
Gut healing isn’t about finding one magical food. It’s about repeating simple habits every single day.
Before chasing the next “superfood,” ask yourself:
Are simple, nourishing foods showing up on my plate consistently?
That’s usually where we begin.

Most chronic metabolic health issues are shaped by what we do every day.
Our meals.
Our thoughts.
Our daily routine.
Not by how much wealth we own.
I’ve seen people from every walk of life struggle with the same problems when these basics are ignored.
Health deserves to be a priority, no matter who you are or what you do. Because without it, everything else becomes harder to enjoy.

Chronic health conditions have connections to internal imbalance and our way of living
Once we take care of basics like diet, nutrition and way of living-
We can keep these health issues away

The liver is one of the most important organs in our body. It has a remarkable ability to heal and regenerate itself.
Nearly 1 in every 10 people is living with fatty liver disease.
#ggt#liver#alt
Your liver and gut are more connected than most people think.
When we see liver reports, these 4 enzymes often get all the attention:
• ALT (SGPT) – involved in protein metabolism and liver cell health
• AST (SGOT) – involved in amino acid metabolism
• GGT – linked to detoxification and glutathione, the body’s master antioxidant
• ALP – linked to bile flow, which plays an important role in digestion and bowel movements
How does this relate to gut health?
The liver produces bile, which helps digest fats, supports regular bowel movements, and influences the gut microbiome.
When digestion, gut inflammation, fatty liver, alcohol intake, medications, or metabolic dysfunction are present, these markers can be affected.
A liver report should never be viewed in isolation. It is often part of the bigger picture involving digestion, metabolism, and gut health.
Your gut and liver are in constant conversation through the gut–liver axis.

Today I had a bodyweight training session with a 48-year-old woman from a very well-off family.
Over the last few months, she has genuinely started taking care of herself. Eating enough protein, making better choices while eating out or at social gatherings, sleeping better, feeling less fatigued, better mood, and even seeing inch loss.
She is doing everything right.
But today, during the workout, one thing stayed with me.
She couldn’t hold a plank for even 15–20 seconds.
She also struggled to perform basic bodyweight squats and lunges with good control.
And honestly, this is not just her story.
I see this so often, especially in women.
We have built wealth, successful careers, beautiful homes… but somewhere, we forgot to build strength.
After 35, preserving muscle is no longer about looking fit. It’s about ageing well. It’s about being able to get up from the floor, carry your own bags, climb stairs comfortably, prevent falls, and stay independent for years to come.
Ladies, please take care of your muscles.
You don’t need a fancy gym membership to begin. Even bodyweight exercises or a pair of dumbbells at home can make a huge difference.
Your future self will thank you for every squat, every push, every plank you do today.

A couple in their 20s approached me after seeing the deranged markers in their annual health check-up.
They were not willing to start any medication, but rather wanted to work on their diet and lifestyle issues.
Just had one thought in mind—
How nice is this approach towards better health.
If such awareness exists, people won’t be in health trouble in their 40s for sure.
No more BP, diabetes, obesity, or fatty liver.
I really felt proud of their choices at such a young age.

Our body doesn’t wake up one day with diabetes, thyroid problems, or an autoimmune disease.
Years before that, it experiences
Poor sleep.
Low energy.
Food intolerances.
Skin issues.
No exercise.
Digestive discomfort.
Ignoring those doesn’t make them disappear.
Listen to those daily signs before body starts to scream.

Digestion starts in the mouth —
and in the mind too.
The moment we see, smell, or even think about food, digestive juices begin getting activated.
But this natural process gets disturbed when we eat while:
• Scrolling on the phone
• Watching TV
• Working on the laptop
• Feeling stressed or anxious
• Eating too fast
Digestion actually begins in the mouth.
• Saliva mixes with food and starts carbohydrate digestion
• Proper chewing breaks food into smaller particles
• Better chewing reduces unnecessary load on the stomach and intestines
• Eating calmly improves digestion, bloating, and heaviness after meals
Simple habits that make a big difference:
• Sit and eat peacefully
• Keep gadgets away during meals
• Chew your food properly
• Slow down while eating
• Be grateful for the food being served
Good digestion is not only about what we eat.
It is also about how we eat.

🚨 Top Warning Signs Your “Healthy Diet” Is Actually Slowing Your Metabolism
If your diet is based on:
❌ Calorie restriction
❌ Only salads and raw foods
❌ Very low fat intake
❌ Fear of oil/ghee
❌ Limited food variety
Watch out for these warning signs:
⚠️ Constant fatigue
⚠️ Hair fall
⚠️ Poor sleep
⚠️ Mood swings and irritability
⚠️ Cravings and binge eating
⚠️ Feeling cold all the time
⚠️ Poor workout recovery
⚠️ Loss of muscle instead of fat
⚠️ Constipation and bloating
⚠️ Weight loss has completely stalled
Many people think eating less automatically means becoming healthier.
Your body doesn’t just need fewer calories.
It needs enough protein, healthy fats, micronutrients, and dietary diversity to function properly.
The goal is not to eat the least.
The goal is to nourish the body enough so it can burn fat, maintain muscle, support hormones, and stay healthy long term.
If your “healthy diet” is making you feel worse, it’s time to rethink it.

A 49-year-old woman came for skin knee pain and pigmentation concerns.
But underneath were:
poor sleep, fatigue, knee pain, low Vit D/B12 and metabolic imbalance.
We didn’t focus on creams.
We worked on:
nutrition, sleep, gut health, stress and lifestyle.
4 months later:
Cholesterol 235 → 198
TG 109 → 70
Better sleep
More energy
Knee pain gone
Melasma patches lighter
Skin issues are often deeper health signals, not just cosmetic problems.

Irony!!
Eating healthy and living a healthy lifestyle is often seen as something odd or unrealistic by many.
But this “Sab Chalta Hai” attitude towards health can be dangerous in the long run.
Your body keeps adapting for years—until one day it doesn’t. Health problems rarely appear overnight; they are usually the result of small compromises repeated for years.

Today, I had a review call with one of my H Pylori clients.
As he shared his journey of last 3 weeks and I could see the relief on his face.
He was smiling throughout the conversation.
Not because he achieved a perfect lab report.
Not because he followed a strict diet.
But because he finally feels like himself again.
He is enjoying a wider variety of foods.
He values and respects good food without fearing it.
His bowel movements are normal.
His gut issues are gone.
The constant anxiety around symptoms has settled.
And now, people around him are noticing the change too.
His healthier physique and weight gain are getting compliments.
Moments like these remind me that true healing is much more than numbers on a report.
It’s about getting your confidence, freedom, and quality of life back.
Helping someone reach that place is truly a blessing.

30-year-old male.
Gastritis ( H pylori), Anxiety. Underweight due to gut issues.
When we started, he was struggling to eat enough and had very limited food choices.
Just 3 weeks later:
• Weight: 58.5 kg → 64 kg
• More food variety added
• Anxiety reduced by ~50%
• Better mood and energy
A reminder that when the gut improves, the whole body starts responding.
Case still in progress.

Today’s article in Times of India
A smaller waist is not always a bigger win.
This article raises an important question about GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic.
Yes, they can help with weight loss and improve metabolic markers in the right patients.
But obesity is not just a lack of willpower or excess hunger.
Poor sleep, stress, ultra-processed food, inactivity, environmental factors, and modern lifestyles all play a major role.
The concern is when these drugs become a shortcut for problems that need long-term lifestyle solutions.
For severe obesity and uncontrolled diabetes, GLP-1 drugs can be valuable tools.
But they should support lifestyle change, not replace it.
The goal should not be just weight loss.
The goal should be better metabolic health, strength, energy, and sustainable habits.
