Article 81 : Allocate seats based on population
Article 82 : Readjust seats after every census
Holding the book isn't enough, one should first read and follow the constitutional mandate.

Newspaper headlines carried the weight of a nation’s pain, resistance, and eventual redemption:
’𝐌𝐫𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐡𝐢 𝐋𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐬 — 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐡𝐢.’
For 21 long months, Bharat had lived in fear. The knock on the door at midnight was no longer a metaphor; it was reality. Voices were silenced, newspapers were mutilated by censorship, and the Constitution itself was bent to serve one family’s hunger for power.
The Emergency was not just a political decision. It was a tragedy inflicted upon crores of Indians. Democracy was locked in chains and the Republic was forced to watch in silence.
📌 Over 1,10,000 citizens were jailed without trial.
📌 Nearly 1.1 crore Indians were forcibly sterilised in the name of “discipline.”
📌 More than 1,20,000 slum dwellers were uprooted, their homes bulldozed as if their lives had no worth.
📌 The press — the voice of the people — was gagged and turned into a mouthpiece of the regime.
This was not governance. This was the systematic dismantling of democracy by a party that could not tolerate dissent.

Students, workers, journalists, and ordinary families carried the silent courage to wait, to endure, and finally, to vote for change.
When elections were announced, the people answered not with anger, but with resolve. The ballot became their rebellion. And on 21 March 1977, the verdict was delivered:
The most anti-democracy Prime Minister in India’s history was defeated by the very citizens she had tried to silence. 📰
The fall of Indira Gandhi was not just an electoral loss — it was a civilisational correction. Democracy, bruised and battered, stood back on its feet.
That is why this day must not be remembered as just a political milestone, but as a national warning. ⚠️
Because nations do not lose freedom in one day, they lose it when people forget the cost at which it was saved.

Tipu Sultan is often portrayed as a secular anti-colonial hero.⚔️
However, Persian letters, British military reports, missionary writings, and regional gazetteers describe large-scale killings, forced conversions, deportations, and temple destruction during his campaigns.
Here is what those records state.⬇️

“Tamil Nadu has the highest number of temples, many ancient ones too. You’ll see people wearing big tilaks.. but when it comes to voting, they choose people who abuse Hindu gods.
What kind of people are they? Someone please translate this into Tamil & show them” - Ranganna 🔥😂
