Koreli bir vatandaşın grammy ve BTS hakkında yazdıkları gündem olmuş, benim de okurken tüylerim diken diken oldu diye paylaşmak istedim:

başlık: ülke toprağımız küçük olabilir, peki ya gökyüzümüz de mi küçük?

“Kore büyük bir ülke değil, global müzik sektörünün merkezinde hiçbir zaman yer almadı. korece de, ingilizcenin aksine, her gidilen yerde konuşulan ve anlaşılan bir dil de değil. ama küçük bir toprak parçasında doğduk diye bakış açımızı küçük bir gökyüzüyle sınırlayacak değiliz.

BTS, korece şarkılar söyleyerek Pasifik okyanusunu ve Atlas okyanusunu aştı. farklı dilleri konuşan insanlar onların şarkılarını hep bir ağızdan söyledi. kimileri yalnızlığına yoldaş buldu, kimileri kendini sevmeyi öğrendi, kimileri ise çaresizliğin ortasında yeniden yaşama tutunacak o gücü buldu.

eğer grammy onlara bir ödül verirse bunu onlarla birlikte sevinçle kutlarız ama vermezseler de BTS'in yarattığı bu dünya küçülüp gitmeyecek. hiçbir unvan veya etiket, BTS'in müziğinin yankılandığı gökyüzünü daraltamaz.

bir ödül, müzisyenin ellerindedir ancak bir şarkı ise insanın kalbindedir.

bir ödül rafının sınırları vardır ancak bir şarkının uçabileceği gökyüzünün ise asla sınırları yoktur.

bizim gökyüzümüz, Kore Yarımadasıyla sınırlı değil. Pasifik ve Atlas okyanusunu aşarak, ülkelerin ödül salonlarının ya da bölge ve dile göre ayrılmış sınırlarının ötesine geçiyor.

We have decided not to submit our work to the Grammy Awards this year.

We hope that music will be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being divided by region or language.

When we welcomed the start of dialogue with @YouTube, we said we trusted it would lead to consistent results.

Today it has. YouTube has begun global removal of videos promoting Alabuga and other sanctioned entities. We welcome this decision and expect the process to continue.

Alabu­ga is a Russian weapons factory. The Shahed drones assembled there are killing Ukrainian children in their beds, striking maternity hospitals, and destroying residential buildings across our cities on a near-daily basis.

Alabuga is recruiting teenagers, some as young as 15, to work on those very production lines. Platforms that carry promotional content for Alabuga are not neutral service providers. They are part of the chain that sustains that production and enables Russian atrocities.

YouTube recognised this and acted. Structured, direct dialogue with a platform of global reach produced a global result. We are grateful for that.

We now call on all other major platforms to act without delay. The Alabuga recruitment campaign is active. It targets young people. It operates across multiple platforms simultaneously.

Every day of inaction is another day that content recruiting teenagers to a sanctioned weapons manufacturer reaches its intended audience on the open internet.

We are ready to extend the same dialogue to any platform prepared to act on the same basis.

Jealousy always aims at someone else, but in the end, it only destroys the person carrying it – some people really need to learn that.

«Jimin can’t do anything without the group» – and yet he has two successful solo albums built with his own artistry, his own vision, his own name.

«Jimin came back from the military out of shape» – and the stage literally burns under the way he moves, like his body remembers how to command an entire arena without even trying.

«Jimin hired imagemakers» – and the company itself confirmed that the style you keep calling a «concept» was personally chosen by him. Because taste cannot be manufactured. You either have it, or you don’t.

«Jimin didn’t make an impact on tour» – and fans keep switching their biases the second he steps on stage. Because presence like his cannot be taught, copied, or recreated.

«Jimin is overrated» – and somehow his name is still the one living in your minds rent free year after year. Funny how the people you claim are «irrelevant» always seem to be the ones you can’t stop talking about.

You compare Jimin to your favorites without realizing the most obvious thing: people only compare others to the person who’s already ahead. The comparison itself is an admission of defeat. You take words written about Jimin, replace his name with your favorite’s, hoping some of that magic will transfer over. But it never works: you cannot wear someone else’s aura like borrowed designer clothes.

And do you know why? Because Jimin was kissed by God twice – once at conception, and once at birth. He grew up surrounded by love: from his parents, his teachers, his friends. And later, that love multiplied through millions of people around the world. Maybe that’s why there’s always something around him that can never be replicated – light. The kind of light that cannot be created by PR, bought through contracts, or dimmed by bitterness.

Once you JimIn, you can't JimOut – not just a slogan, but a reflection of the feelings of millions of people who have given their hearts once and for all to a unique artist and simply a good person. You would have understood it – if you were actually capable of deeper thought.
