Resident Doctors of @UHP_NHS
I have an absolute mountain of respect for those of you who have forced the Trust to write this bullying email
The law is clear, you are responsible for prescriptions you write
Just say no
@bendymarsh Ironically what I think is intellectually embarrassing is to write a letter with an opinion on a book you haven’t read in a field you haven’t studied and assume a your title adds credibility.
@RoseWorthesee@LilyLilyMaynard@HaringeyReSist Don’t assume. I live in a similar way. Tp also life like you. The meaningful data in this debate is relative risk for an individual. I always try and imagine the experience for the other person. I’d rather be a women in this world than trans. There’s no winner.
@RoseWorthesee@LilyLilyMaynard@HaringeyReSist It’s a rework of the trolley problem. Do you make a large cohort slightly worse off to make an unimaginable positive difference to someone’s life. The real risks involved are almost negligibly small.
@RoseWorthesee@LilyLilyMaynard@HaringeyReSist Essentially because YOU feel uncomfortable about something that might happen to you once or twice ever you force them to feel that way every day of their life. Their feelings are the same as yours but you feel that yours are more important.
@RoseWorthesee@LilyLilyMaynard@HaringeyReSist You appear to have made it your responsibility. The point is it’s predatory criminal biological men crime that are the problem and I think it’s unfair to demonise a group of people who are as innocent as you and me. Ps I think dedicated services such as shelters should be exempt)
@RoseWorthesee@LilyLilyMaynard@HaringeyReSist The point is that the ruling has made it easier for
Predators and harder to keep people safe. Venues discriminating on sex not gender can’t turn people away who declare their sex trufuly or dishonestly. Those who discriminate on gender not sex can.
@RoseWorthesee@LilyLilyMaynard@HaringeyReSist This ruling genuinely means now that all the thousands of predators you claim are using your toilets to assault people no longer need to wear a dress. They just say they are a trans man (women transitioned to male) and you can’t do anything.
@RoseWorthesee@LilyLilyMaynard@HaringeyReSist They can’t which is the very problem the recent court ruling brings to the forefront and allows any man to demand entrance women’s spaces. It was safer before.
@RoseWorthesee@LilyLilyMaynard@HaringeyReSist I think if I or a group of my biologically male friends walked up and tried to get into the women’s pond they would do the same however if a trans man who has gender dysphoria, who lives every day of their life facing prejudice and discrimination they would let them in.
@RoseWorthesee@LilyLilyMaynard@HaringeyReSist I said trans men. And they would let trans men into the men’s pool. The difference between me and a trans women is our gender. The similarity is our biological sex. And I plead that in day 2 day lived experience gender is far more important.
