🚨 Urgent Public Health, Safety & Security Hazard 🚨

Illegal garbage dumping outside 151 Base Hospital, Basistha, Guwahati has transformed a critical healthcare zone into a dumping ground. Household refuse, plastics, and decomposing waste are accumulating along the hospital boundary and entrance.

The resulting foul odour, mosquito breeding, and presence of stray animals pose serious health risks to patients, newborns, elderly veterans, hospital residents, and the public. Waste spilling onto the main road is causing traffic congestion, endangering pedestrians and motorists, and affecting the security environment of a defence establishment.

This unauthorised dumping is taking place on A1 Defence Land and requires immediate intervention by the concerned authorities.
