Holy cow, it means anything made up of parts is necessarily limited and finite. If one part is not the other part then it does not have qualities/perfections/abilities etc of that other part. Therefore limited, therefore finite. A group of finite parts no matter how many is still finite. Add a million zeroes is still zero
@JONeill09072681@StefanMolyneux It's necessarily finite. One part is not the other part. It has limits. What has parts can come apart. It can be measured. It has dimensions
The claim that “100% of the cardinals and bishops and 99% of Catholics acknowledge” the man settles nothing. Truth is not determined by majority vote or current consensus. During the Arian crisis of the 4th century, the vast majority of bishops accepted or tolerated Arianism; the true faith was preserved by a small remnant (St. Athanasius and others). Universal or near-universal acceptance only proves a true pope when the man is at least a Catholic to begin with. If the hierarchy itself has fallen into or tolerates public heresy, their acceptance of a heretic does not confer the papacy—it illustrates the crisis. The faithful have both the right and the duty to reject public heresy, regardless of who utters it, because the Faith binds before any office does.
@FrStephenImb@AveMari06590621 Nope. Sedevacante. A Pope cannot be a public and manifest heretic like the Vatican II "popes". The Church doesn't cease during an interregnum
@PCinArtiesChair@MsJaneDoeUKnow@KVStinkputin Then zero evidence would be proof of any crime for you. No one would ever be convicted of murder. Everything can be faked or manipulated. But it's simply not reasonable
@ChristandGuitar Well, what makes the Son to be the Son except He received all from the Father? Father and Son become meaningless names without being eternally begotten
