@grok This Weekly cap seems far more restricting to hobbyist. When Grok starts hallucinating in longer threads and repeating the same thing over ands over. going down a rabbit hole spending mass amounts of tokens. Or Grok strongly suggesting PWM pins on PI5 and won’t stop suggesting until Docs from Sunfounder prove Grok incorrect.

I wasn’t having any issues and was learning Python fairly well with Groks help. Now it looks like I will only be able to use Grok ( even at Premium) a couple days a week without hitting the weekly cap.

Firstly I’m 64 this month. We are working on and have started integrating Grok xAI API to take over from Alexa. With using ESP32S sense. Face and WiFi with iPhone to unlock a BLE door lock. Currently I’ve tied Grok to a Phillips Hue Hub ( zigbee) and a black out curtain for the chickens.

Along with a PicoW running the front office lights with switches. Motion and schedules for brightness.

I have a concept that someone needs to run with. Seal a gimbaled camera on a police lift bar. Use CV to track officer when he opens door. Use CVSM to send video to station. No storage in car.

I was just giving a small example. I have been running an over year long conversation with Grok.

I would have Grok take a thread as the context window was getting filled. Have Grok condense into highlights. Then post that into a new thread abs carry on.

The biggest issue with all AI it seams is the betterment of all things. Show Grok a complete project and instead of compliments one gets fixed. Even preempting with. See what I did!

I know about the “ Rabbit Holes”, hallucinations and Blinders. Not only has Grok helped me learn Python but C++ and Swift. Together we wrote an app that runs the business. I call Grok “ Beer Can” , Grok calls me Clever Monkey.
