Majority of Ontarians pushed back on playground closures.
Yesterday we put 2 young parents on ventilators. They got COVID through workplace transmission.
Children need safe workplaces for their parents even more than playgrounds.
Please be angry & care about unsafe workplaces.
I've never been more concerned about the threat of #COVID19 in TO. I'd love to say we're ready to reopen, but today it's better to delay until the time is right. Let's keep doing all we can to protect our city so we can get back to brighter days sooner: https://t.co/hLb9AhwiIp
“This pandemic will eventually end. But some will have sacrificed more than others. And that is due to the more insidious epidemic of inequality, rooted in racism and poverty.”

11/ And as always, it is important to:
*Stay humble - we don't have all the answers.
*Be open minded to new/emerging data & adapt policy in real time to reflect this.
*Balance proceeding cautiously with forward momentum.
*Keep BS 💩 detectors on at all times.
But I'll say it again: we need mental health care to be accessible - financially, logistically, culturally. We need care to be compassionate. We need voluntary care to be prioritized. We need care to be effective. Too often, for too many people in Canada, it's not.
Attitudes are changing around #mentalhealth, but stigma still exists. Now more than ever, every action counts. RT this, be part of that change and help spread awareness.

I spoke with @CBCTheNational today on the importance of decriminalization and safer supply. We need to stop punishing people who use drugs & offer safer alternatives that meet substance users where they're at. It's a health issue, start treating it like one. #cdnpoli#ReduceHarm
There is no vaccine for poverty.
There is no vaccine for racism.
There is no vaccine for sexism.
There is no vaccine for ablism.
There is no vaccine for Islamophobia.
There is no vaccine for Anti-Semitism.
There is no vaccine for homophobia.
We got work to do, y'all.
Every day.
“So I think for not just us but other celebrities, if they talk about [depression] openly....like it’s the common cold, then it becomes more and more accepted if it’s a common disorder like the cold." - Suga of BTS. BTS is my self-care. What's yours? #BellLetsTalk
It’s the 10th year of #BellLetsTalk and, while we’ve come a long way from where the conversation on mental health started, there’s still more work to do to end stigma & make sure Canadians can get the support they need. So let’s keep talking, Canada!
.@CAMHnews continues to challenge the stigma associated with mental illness through their current redevelopment project. Here's an aerial view of their two new buildings under construction https://t.co/bvkYqAkYDh @PCLConstruction#BellLetsTalk
